As an independent Open Access publication, TConnect: Journal of Tourism Connectivity utilizes Article Processing Charges (APCs) to support the journal’s digital publishing infrastructure and publication services. These include editorial and peer-review management, professional layout and formatting, digital preservation, and DOI (Digital Object Identifier) registration for published articles.

No Submission Fee

Authors are not required to pay any fee when submitting a manuscript or during the peer-review process. An Article Processing Charge is applied only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and received an official editorial acceptance decision.

Volume 1 Inaugural Waiver

To celebrate the launch of TConnect and support the growth of our global academic community, the journal offers a 50% Inaugural APC Waiver for manuscripts submitted to and accepted for Volume 1.

Under this inaugural program, the applicable APC is Rp500,000 / USD 50, compared with the standard APC of Rp1,000,000 / USD 100.

Editorial Independence

TConnect maintains strict editorial independence. Payment of an APC has no influence on the editorial decision-making process. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their academic merit, originality, methodological validity, research integrity, and relevance to the journal’s Focus and Scope.

The journal does not offer fast-track review, guaranteed acceptance, or preferential editorial treatment in exchange for payment.

Authors are only required to pay the APC after official acceptance of the manuscript. The ability or willingness to pay an APC does not influence the peer-review or editorial decision.

APC Waiver

Authors who experience genuine financial difficulties may contact the editorial office to request a full or partial APC waiver. Waiver requests are handled separately from the editorial and peer-review process and do not influence the academic evaluation of the manuscript.
